Cut an A+8" by 1" strip of material for the outer cover along with an A+6" by B+1 piece of fusible medium weight non-woven interfacing. Iron it on its right side. Sew around all edges with a 1/4 inch stitch length. Press in each handle strip so it's in line with the fold at the center before marking its placement with pins. Sew the handles' ends to the cover's inside, taking care that you do not stitch through pockets, using zigzag stitching to avoid excessive raveling.
